Little would have William Wordsworth known, that when he told that "Child is the father of man", it would be and can be interpreted in thousand ways. I am soon going to be a father and hearing these words now creates an unique resonance in my mind. It now makes a meaning it never had, best captured by the following lines: "A man is reborn the moment he sees his own life with his eyes, touches it and feels it. His progeny reconnects him to the ultimate truth of Life : its indestructibility and its quest to go on and on without respite, without waiting for anyone. The child reminds of the fact that no matter how stupid we tend to be now and how mindless we are now, muddying the existence of life with the puffed veneer of sham, illusion, ideologies, dogmas, pleasure seeking and raise walls around each other, we were all given a equal chance to live, a chance we frittered as we entered the man-made canvas leaving the comfort of truth.
